Noisy Trumpet Sister Agency, The PM Group, Continues Its Legacy of Charitable Giving

For over 32 years, our sister agency, The PM Group, has created a philanthropic culture of charitable giving, raising substantial funds annually in support of local nonprofit organizations. This year, we are proud to recognize their recent $50,000 donation to San Antonio Sports in support of the organization’s i play! afterschool program.

This donation was a direct result of The PM Group’s annual Texas Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament which took place on January 25, 2020 at Crown Ridge Banquet Hall in San Antonio, Texas. Noisy Trumpet helped promote the tournament through social, digital, and PR efforts and was a part of the volunteer team. One hundred percent of the net funds raised benefitted local charitable organizations like San Antonio Sports’ i play! afterschool program. In addition, another $30,000 was raised to benefit SA YES, Austin YES and CC YES, all 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. 

San Antonio Sports’ i play! afterschool is an innovative program that ignites a love of sport in 3rd through 5th graders, while teaching them life lessons about active living, good nutrition, and strong personal character. The program currently serves 1,450 children in 58 elementary schools in San Antonio. With the impact of the pandemic on the organization’s fundraising efforts, this donation was essential for ensuring the program continues to serve and expand throughout our community. The organization also leads several other initiatives including The Power of Sport, the Hall of Fame Tribute, and most recently, Stay Active. Stay Healthy.
