Idea

Increasing Awareness of San Antonio Sports ACTIVATE Program

San Antonio Sports is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform our community through the power of sport. San Antonio Sports’ Activate program provides free weekly fitness and wellness classes, 5Ks, health screenings and more to the community. Located in San Antonio, Texas this program creates opportunities for the community to attend interactive exercise classes and win prizes for participation. In early December 2023, San Antonio Sports enlisted the help of Noisy Trumpet to promote their ACTIVATE Program, ACTIVATE 5k Events, and ACTIVATE Enrollment.

Opportunity

Utilizing a Multi-Channel Approach to Expand Reach

Considering that San Antonio Sports Activate’s mission in the community is to motivate people to move their bodies and focus on health and well-being, our strategy was to position San Antonio Sports Activate as the premier and most accessible fitness program in the city. Our team developed a multi-channel approach, leveraging platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google, aiming to maximize reach and engagement among the target audience. This strategy emphasized an understanding of the diverse digital landscape and the importance of meeting potential participants where they are most active online. By utilizing the organization’s commitment to providing opportunities for community members to prioritize their health and well-being, the campaign resonated with their mission while addressing potential barriers to participation, such as cost or accessibility.

Results

Driving Over 1.6 Million Total Impressions

By utilizing various digital advertising platforms, our approach enabled Activate to effectively reach and resonate with its target audience, driving traffic to their website and enhancing brand credibility within the competitive digital landscape. The success of the campaign was measured through the following metrics:

  • Over 1.6 million total impressions from Facebook, Instagram, and Google Search.
  • The website’s pages were viewed over 18,000 times
  • 349 registrations directly from the campaign
