The American Heart Association’s Red Sofa Tour Launches in San Antonio

The PM Group and American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement kicked-off the Red Sofa Tour on Saturday, August 5 at the San Antonio Back 2 School Expo to encourage San Antonio women and their families to take action and live a healthier life.
Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year – more than all cancers combined. The Red Sofa Tour aims to change this statistic by inviting women in the community to unite, join the conversation and share how they live their life with heart by taking a photo on the red sofa, uploading the photo to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with #RedSofaTourSA and making a pledge to spread the word.
